Tenth Street Brownstone
Brooklyn, New York
This renovation breathes new life into a cherished Park Slope brownstone, home to the same family for many years. With their children now grown, the owners sought to reimagine their home’s flow and functionality. The project focused on redefining the main living areas—kitchen, dining, and living room—by balancing original details with contemporary updates. The once-confined kitchen has been expanded into the centerpiece of the home, seamlessly connecting to a newly designed dining area and office. With a relocation of the bathroom and storage areas, the sunroom skylight and wall-to-wall windows at the rear of the house flood the interior with natural light and create a strong visual and spatial connection to the garden.
